Katie started rowing in 2007 through the GB Rowing Start programme, coached by Julie Edwards. She has represented GB at Junior and U23 level for the past 5 years, winning silver in the WU238+ in 2014 and bronze in the same event in 2015. She has won HWR 5 times, in J16 4x, J2x, Senior 4x, Elite 4- and Elite 8+ and was a semi-finalist in the inaugural JW4x event at Henley Royal Regatta. Despite all this, Katie's proudest moment was being crowned runner up in her junior school Easter bonnet competition.
